No inexperienced rowers may take to water without the supervision of a competent club approved coxswain.
All rowers do so at their own risk.
All crews must have a cox with them.
All coxes and rowers must wear a properly fitting life jacket during the outing. Youth rowers (under 16) must wear a self-inflating life jacket.
The boat must contain a dry bag with a VHF radio (switched on Channel 11) and flare, baler.
Crews and coxes must make themselves aware of the rules of the water and be bound by them at all times.
Equipment: All equipment must be checked by the crew using the boat before and after use. Breakages: Any breakages during the outing should be reported and the boat or equipment should not be used again until it has been satisfactorily repaired.
